Bukayo Saka is reportedly close to agreeing a new long-term contract with Arsenal that would raise his weekly pay to NOK 3,750,000 and keep him at the club until 2031.
The contract would make Saka the highest-paid player in Arsenal’s history and signals the club’s intent to keep him during his prime years.
Ruben Neves currently plays for Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, where he has been paid about NOK 4,250,000 per week, but his spell there has not met expectations and his contract is nearing its end.
Manchester United are reported to be interested in bringing Neves back to Europe and could pursue him for about NOK 250,000,000, seeing him as a midfield option who adds experience and passing quality.
Neves left Wolverhampton at 26 and was highly rated by fans for his midfield play; with his Saudi contract ending, he now has a chance to return to a top European league.
United may face competition from other clubs if Neves becomes available, given his ability to control play and link defence to attack.
